The 40 Day Challenge
Find your rhythm. Deepen your breath. Come back to yourself.
October 5 – November 13, 2026
What could change if you committed to showing up for yourself for 40 days?
Not perfectly. Not intensely. Just consistently.
For 40 days, we’re inviting our Yogacara community to make space for movement, breath, mindfulness and connection. To step onto your mat, take a breath, and create a little more room in your day to reconnect with yourself.
Some days you might feel strong and energized. Other days, you might need something slow and restorative. The goal isn’t to do the most – it’s simply to show up.
And when you do that, something starts to shift.
40 Days. One Commitment: You.
The 40 Day Challenge is an opportunity to create a consistent yoga practice while being supported by a community of people doing the same.
Over the 40 days, explore different classes, teachers and offerings at Yogacara. Challenge yourself when you have the energy. Rest when you need to. Notice what your body is asking for.
This isn’t about achieving a certain shape or becoming a “better” yogi.
It’s about creating a rhythm that supports you – and discovering what happens when you keep coming back.
You might notice…
More energy.
Movement can help you feel awake, grounded and ready for whatever the day brings.
A deeper breath.
With regular practice, you may begin to notice more space, awareness and ease in your breathing.
A quieter mind.
Taking time to move and breathe gives you a chance to step away from the noise and come back to yourself.
A stronger connection.
To your body, your practice, your community – and maybe even to the people you share the studio with.
A practice that actually sticks.
Forty days gives you the opportunity to move yoga from something you occasionally do into something that becomes part of your rhythm.
…all right before ski and snowboard season. Feel stronger, more connected, and energetically supported as we shift into the winter season.
How It Works
1. Commit to 40 Days
The challenge runs October 5 – November 13.
Your commitment is simple: make yoga a part of your life for the next 40 days.
That might mean practicing every day. It might mean coming several times a week. Your challenge is yours to define – but the invitation is to keep showing up.
2. Come to Class
Attend any regularly scheduled public class at Yogacara during the challenge.
With a variety of classes – from dynamic flows to slower, restorative practices – you can choose what feels right for you each day.
Feeling energized? Move.
Feeling tired? Restore.
Need to slow down? Breathe.
There is no “right” way to practice.
3. Track Your Journey
We’ll help you keep track of your practice throughout the 40 days so you can see your commitment build.
And yes… there are rewards along the way. ✨
4. Celebrate Yourself
Make it to 30+ days and you’ll earn a special prize.
Complete the full 40-day journey and there will be an extra reward waiting for you.
Because showing up deserves to be celebrated.
AND we’ll be giving away draw prizes for those who commit to the full 40 days, and for anyone who completes 30+ days.
Are You Already a Local Monthly Member?
This one is easy.
Your membership already gives you access to the classes you need – so there’s no additional cost to participate.
Just email us to let us know you’re joining the challenge, and we’ll get you set up.
Not a Member?
We’ve created a special 40-Day Challenge Pass for $165 + tax.
That’s access to public classes throughout the entire 40-day challenge.
Come once a week. Come three times a week. Come every day.
The more you practice, the lower your cost per class becomes – and if you make it to all 40 days, that’s just over $4 per class. 🤯
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone.
One of the most beautiful parts of a consistent practice is the community that grows around it.
You’ll see familiar faces. Meet new ones. Practice with different teachers. Maybe make a few friends along the way.
There will be days when getting to the studio feels easy – and days when it doesn’t.
Those are often the days that matter most.
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be experienced.
You don’t need to feel motivated.
You just need to show up.
We’ll take care of the rest.
Your 40 Days Might Look Like…
Day 1: Feeling excited. ✨
Day 7: Starting to find your rhythm.
Day 15: Noticing that you actually miss your mat when you don’t come.
Day 22: Choosing Restorative instead of forcing a stronger practice.
Day 30: Wait… you’ve really been doing this for a month?
Day 35: The studio starts to feel like home.
Day 40: Looking back and realizing how much can happen when you simply keep showing up.
There is no perfect practice.
There is only your practice.
