Intention Setting, Meditation, and Mindful Movement

9am – 10am in the Garibaldi room at the Whistler Conference Center

Pre-registration required with $15 minimum donation

Get clear and vibrant for the year ahead with Emily Kane, the author of “The Energy and Art of Restorative Yoga.” Explore meditation, pranayama (breathwork), and a physical yoga practice that helps you embody your intention for the new year. This practice will be accessible to all levels and offer options for anyone healing from an injury. Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring your own mat. There will be a limited number of mats available to borrow. All proceeds benefit local charities including AWARE, WAG, Whistler Adaptive, and Zero Ceiling.

Après Sound Bath Experience

3:30pm – 4:30pm in the Garibaldi room at the Whistler Conference Center

Pre-registration required with $15 minimum donation (all proceeds benefit local charities)

Sound, vibration, and breath have the power to relax and restore at our deepest level. During this immersive, full body listening experience, you will be invited to close your eyes and rest, as different sounds and frequencies are introduced in succession. This 60-minute journey begins with a brief, guided meditation directing your focus to the breath and preparing your body to receive the transformational and deeply nourishing benefits of sound from crystal bowls, the gong, chimes, and other instruments. Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring your own mat. There will be a limited number of mats available to borrow.

For this special event we are unable to offer refunds or transfers. If you are unable to attend, we will donate your registration fee to the appropriate charity.

AWARE (Whistler's Environmental Charity)

AWARE (Assocation of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment) is committed to protecting Whistler’s natural environment by speaking up and taking action on environmental issues, while empowering others to do the same. AWARE’s prioritizes in safeguarding habitats and species to maintain connectivity of ecosystems, supporting wildlife and human health. They also engage and empower our community to make smart choices, consume mindfully and consider impacts on the environment and the climate.

WAG (Whistler's Animals Galore)
Whistler Animals Galore (WAG) was founded in 1982 when two friends identified the need for an animal rescue service in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Since then, WAG has grown into a respected community asset, providing many services and unique programs such as our Matchmaker adoption process, lost and found animal services, volunteer programs, foster programs, animal rehabilitation programs, and more.WAG also partners with the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) by housing impounded dogs. WAG is non-profit and registered charity that cares for and re-homes many cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens each year.
Whistler Adaptive

Whistler Adaptive is committed to introducing individuals with a disability to sport, recreation and therapeutic sport programming. Whistler Adaptive supports sport for life by breaking down the financial, physical and social barriers as well as creating skills that will lead to future employment within sport and beyond.

Zero Ceiling

Zero Ceiling is a social service non-profit committed to ending youth homelessness in BC. We create a supportive, stable, safe environment where young people can focus on personal growth. Zero Ceiling’s approach is to put strong, positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We work towards equity and social justice for young people who have been discriminated against, excluded, and oppressed.
