For many of us outdoorsy folk in Whistler, summer time is go, go, go. With an abundance of fun activities to choose from, we let chores build up, and we may let self-care fall to the backburner in favour of spending every moment in the radiant sunshine for the short time that it’s here. Ahhh Fall. The leaves are changing, the air is crisper, and pumpkin spice is all-the-rage. It can also be a time to commit to your yoga and mindfulness practice. So what is mindfulness you might ask? To be mindful is to become fully aware of the present moment. It’s an opportunity to acknowledge one’s thoughts, feelings, and sensations without attaching yourself to them.
