200 Hour Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

Program Dates for 2024: April 19th – June 7th

***Registration closes March 19th***

Immerse yourself in the study and practice of yoga during this 7 week training in the Canadian coastal mountains ~ discover your true potential surrounded by the beauty of the forests and mountains. Training at Yogacara in a small cohort means you receive more time and feedback from two very experienced, skilled, and supportive teachers who emphasize personal and professional development as a yoga teacher.

Why Experience a Yogacara Yoga Teacher Training

Most yoga teacher trainings don’t adquately prepare teachers for the reality and responsiblity of being a yoga teacher. These trainings entice you with exotic desintations and quick turnaround times which doesn’t give students enough space to fully integrate these essential teachings. Furthermore, they are often large classes which don’t offer enough practical training, direct guidance, or the support required to be an inspirational yoga teacher.

“As a yoga studio owner, I’ve interviewed yoga teachers who do not have the skills they need to lead yoga classes. It breaks my heart to see students misled by schools that do not adequately prepare them; it’s a disservice to the path of yoga. We seek to change that by offering smaller classes, connection, feedback, and a well-rounded curriculum which allows students to fully develop their gifts. We’ve seen the results in the incredible teachers who have graduated from our programs.”

– Emily Kane, yoga teacher trainer and owner of Yogacara

Our well-rounded curriculum focuses on learning the key elements of building a class, which includes asana and anatomy, while providing you with the holistic foundation and principles that yoga is founded on. In addition, we keep our cohorts small which allows all students to receive the necessary attention and feedback to become a confident, knowledgeable, and inspired teacher.
