Make memories, gain valuable skills, uplift your life, safely

We want to ensure that you have an exceptional learning experience when you join us for yoga teacher training. This document includes information that tells you what to expect in the instance of specific COVID-19 related barriers or closures in specific circumstances regarding yoga teacher training.

Our guarantee for you:

– a quality experience with skilled teachers

– the time commitments we’ve promised

– clarity and transparency from us about current events

– a safe environment to practice in

What happens if I get COVID-19 or am required to isolate for the duration of the training?

If you were required to isolate or had COVID-19 and were unable to start the training you would have the option to move into a training for the following year or use the credit towards another training in the same year of equal or lesser value (student will have the option to make up the difference if needed).

When the training has already started under these circumstances we would require participation via zoom and/or additional homework depending on the severity. We will work with you to get your training completed. If the student is unable to participate due to severe symptoms we will be able to provide private tutoring at a reasonable price point.

What happens if I get symptoms and need to get tested during the training?

The student would contact 811 and get testing if needed. We would follow the direction of our Public Health Officer. The student would make up any class time they missed with assigned homework and if they are required to stay home they would be expected to attend class online live via zoom. We kindly ask that you contact the studio immediately if you have symptoms.

What if the studio is required to close by Public Health Order?

If the closure happened during the training, all classes would move to live zooms. If the closure happened 4+ weeks prior and we expected the closure to last through the duration of the training, we would issue refunds minus a $75 processing fee for yin/restorative trainings and $100 for 200 hour trainings. You would also have the option to transfer into another program at a later date.

I am from out of province/country. What if there is a travel ban in place and I am unable to come to Whistler?

We are asking that you do not book your training until you can be sure that travel is appropriate again or ask that you are willing to comply with all provincial/federal regulations, including quarantine, if you were to relocate to Whistler (even if just temporarily). If a new travel restriction is put in place, you would have the option to transfer to another program at a later date.

**Please note that any circumstances that occur within 4 weeks of the program are only eligible for live online options or transfer to a program at a later date**

**there are no refunds except in the circumstance that the training is canceled 4+ weeks before the training start date**

What does the live online option look like?

It looks exactly like your in-person experience, only virtual. You will have the same access to your teacher, same live lectures, and exercises only done via a screen. There will be work that requires participation, action, and collaboration with other students. This option will only be available live and will only be recorded if you are unable to attend due to injury or illness. We will also ask that you keep your camera on and have sound available to ask questions and engage. We feel this is a way of ensuring quality and commitment with an online experience.

Is there a different pricing option for the live online?

Since this option gives you the same access and quality experience that would have in person, there is no difference in pricing.

We do ask that you are responsible and respectful of the safety of yourself and other students.

Thank you for being particularly mindful for the days leading up to and throughout the duration of the training. Our choices can make a difference for other students and staff members so please, adhere to the current guidelines for everyone’s health and safety.

We look forward to creating a supportive educational experience for you.Click here to submit an application and to start your journey
